It feels like Phase 2 was kinda … anticlimactic, and I think it might be that there just isn’t much that anyone can do once they get in here. Who are they supposed to communicate with?
I’m wondering how you feel about scrapping the idea of a Phase 3 and just throwing the gates open. I think we’ve witnessed enough people go through the setup process to know that it works.
What’s y’all’s temperature check on that? Should we just start inviting everyone we can think of and telling them to invite people too?

Slight correction to this information. In the email field it turns out that value is coming from logged in user, not admin. So you’ll see your email there, not webmaster’s. Same deal though, you need to delete it to schedule the meeting. It has to be blank.

It does feel like it would be really helpful as an Area resource. It’s something we can send out to distant recovery homes and treatment centers and that kind of thing, where CMA doesn’t exist. I’m not sure how often we mention cadi-specific things but having it feel like it’s in the voice of the state fellowship as a whole would surely feel more unifying to a reader in say Kingman or Navajo county.

You might have posted it to your profile instead of your group, or a different group. Make sure your committee or homegroup name is showing at the top of the screen when you’re posting it.
If you have like a 4th step worksheet or something to share with your sponsees or whatever then yeah post it on your profile but other than that it will normally go into a specific group.

Format is what kind of meeting, like speaker meeting, or god sticks, or big book study, or daily reflection, or whatever. And we implement it by writing the script that the facilitator uses to conduct the meeting. So the “format” process looks like creating that document together by coding our choices into the language of the script.
I’m checking with Amy and Irene via text on the timing stuff. Stay tuned.

Sorry I just saw this, I think you tried to mention it during the meeting. The committee usually has me cut it off in the final days and we post a notice that they can register on site. This usually coincides with running a list of names for badges. @Kat might have some specific ideas on how she wants it to go.

We aren’t ready for test users yet, we told them to expect their invitations toward the end of February or early March, but it could be sooner or later than we anticipated.
It’s important to remember that people lose their shit over the slightest thing that confuses them, and the word of mouth effect is going to start right away. We need to anticipate as much as we can and polish the rough edges based on our best educated guess, not count on test users to be guinea pigs any more than we can help it.
That said, there’s only so much we can premeditate. These are grown-ups who volunteered to be test users, we don’t owe them perfection. Just our best effort at a beta release.
We’ll decide together when to start inviting people.
