Digital and physical binders

I was thinking about the digital binder concept and I wonder if we offer to mail a physical binder to rural GSRs who attend digitally, instead of presenting it as a binary between physical/in-person and digital/remote, they are a pair of resources that all participants receive.

I think when we go to set up registration we can show it as a zero cost “optional donation” item and ask people if they are participating in-person or remote. This way we can get accurate head counts for both types of participant and also offset some of the costs.

I think this is a great idea especially the part where we are ask for a donation that will really hopefully help offset the cost. I am interested in seeing if we’re offering this to be a remote or hybrid situation. Do you really think that northern or southern willl want to meet in person as a group to then be hybrid? Certainly not trying to be negative and I think that it might work in southern but I don’t know if that would work for Northern but not to say we couldn’t offer it for sure.. just thoughts, thinking out loud

Also tonight I was a participant in a concept workshop with Red from southern Arizona. Man it was amazing. It took her a little less than an hour with a few questions in between obviously it could take longer if there were more questions, but what do you think about inviting her to be a part of this and present her workshop? She went over all 12 concepts in such a classy understandable way I loved her slideshow. It was really great. I could show you some examples. So she would basically present the concepts of the GSR luncheon if she were to accept what do you think?
