Please note, you don’t need to use the zoom integration to hold zoom meetings, and they don’t happen “on the unity hub” even when you do. The benefit of the integration is easy scheduling and having the announcements and reminders posted and emailed to your group.

At the time of the meeting, you will launch your zoom app as usual to attend (and hosts will need to log into the host zoom as always).

    1. Look for the ‘zoom’ tab in your group. If it’s not visible, talk to a member of the Unity Hub Workgroup about your options. Area level committees can use the built in zoom account, or we can walk you through connecting your own account.

    2. The zoom tab will take you to a panel showing upcoming meetings, if there are any, or directly to the new meeting screen if there aren’t. If you do have upcoming meetings, you’ll have to click the ‘create new’ button to get to the entry screen.

    3. The meeting scheduler dialogue is very self-explanatory. You can give the meeting a title, a description (great place to put your agenda!, set date and time, make it recurring if it is, and whether they need a passcode to join. At the bottom, delete the webmaster’s email address from the “alternate hosts” or it won’t let you save. That field has to be blank.

That’s it!! If you have any questions, please post them below or talk to any member of the Unity Hub Workgroup. TYFLMBOS!!!

Slight correction to this information. In the email field it turns out that value is coming from logged in user, not admin. So you’ll see your email there, not webmaster’s. Same deal though, you need to delete it to schedule the meeting. It has to be blank.
