• Where do we go from here?

There are still five weeks until the assembly, and it doesn’t look like people are spontaneously using the invitation feature like we thought they might. That means we’re on here with about a dozen people and it’s totally dead, so there’s no activity for the testing to be even meaningful. And that’s fine, we mainly wanted to catch any major problems and we haven’t seen any so we’re probably OK.

But there are five weeks between now and the assembly, which is a long time to just let it be dormant. There’s no reason it can’t sit dormant, but also if we wanted to try and stir up more excitement we could probably make some memes and start recruiting more test users out of the facebook group. I wonder how you all would feel about that?

The main reason it’s even a question is that would be a little more than just test users, it would be more like a soft launch. It feels like it falls under our committee’s right of decision, but not mine alone. So what do y’all think? Should we try to stir up more test users on social media? There’s no way of knowing how many or few will, but it will double as building energy for the real launch so there’s that.

What do the rest of you think?
