VOTE: Ready for Phase 2?
Poll will be open for 24 hours unless it passes three votes (substantial unanimity of the committee) sooner. At 24 hours we will call the vote based on the votes received.
Is everyone ready for Phase 2 test users?

For those learning about traditions/concepts, the reason I put this to a vote is because it affects the committee, not just me, so it doesn’t fall under right of decision of the chair. Remember that right of decision has two parts – 1/ whether you need to check with the consciousness and 2/ to either make the decision or call the vote based on…

Don’t forget that azareaconvention.com points to your convention page on the website. So it’s a quick, easy, and memorable way to include the convention in your announcements and on your flyers!!
Also, arizonareaconvention.com points there, but it’s not as easy to say. However if someone remembers it incorrectly and spells it out, this way…

I’m migrating my sites back to the new server today. If all goes well we should be back “home” by evening. Again this will be mostly seamless unless you happen to try to log in during the two or three minutes the DNS is propagating.
At that point I think we’re probably ready to start bringing our Phase 2 test users. We can monitor how that…

Okay, Mikester. How’s the migration going?

According to GPT, here are what the payment plans would be at $20 and $40 installments. Posting them here because it will make it easier to talk about during the meeting today if everyone can see them. I’m using these dates to configure the items right now.
$20 Installments (8 payments total)
Because there are 8 payments, there will be 7…

I'm changing where the menus take you
You might or might not even notice but I’m making the menus take you to the announcements page for each group instead of its discussions page since the announcements section is where you see the newest stuff. I think that will be really helpful. I’ve only done it for the Area menu at the moment, I’ll come back to the others later.

Practicing What We Preach!!
I feel like we could really lead by example if we stopped holding zoom meetings and just used the group to communicate continuously. What do y’all think?
Should we try moving all committee business to our group in unity hub and hold zoom meetings only when necessary?

How to schedule a Zoom meeting
Please note, you don’t need to use the zoom integration to hold zoom meetings, and they don’t happen “on the unity hub” even when you do. The benefit of the integration is easy scheduling and having the announcements and reminders posted and emailed to your group.
At the time of the meeting, you will launch your zoom app as usual to attend…

Quick question, do y’all want your own subgroup under Convention or just use the main Convention space? Either way, the zoom meeting scheduler is under the ‘zoom’ tab unless y’all plan on using a personal one again (if you use the Area one it won’t cut off at 40 minutes which is nice).
